Meet a friendly elderly gentleman living in his own home in Hughes who genuinely enjoys company, sharing stories, and having a laugh with others.

Heâs a passionate football fan, particularly when it comes to the English Premier League. If you enjoy soccer, this could be a fantastic opportunity to connect over match results, favourite teams, memorable moments, and all things football.

What you might do during your visits:

Chat about football and the English Premier League

Discuss favourite teams, players, and memorable matches

Share a cuppa and enjoy a relaxed conversation

Watch football highlights together

Share stories, laughs, and good company

Build a meaningful friendship and connection

Your time and companionship can help brighten his day, reduce loneliness, and create moments that both of you can enjoy.

HammondCare is a provider of The Aged Care Volunteer Visitor Scheme funded by the Australian Government and is established to promote links between elderly people and volunteers in their local community.

Requirements

18 years or older â¢ National Volunteer Police Check arranged and paid for by HammondCare â¢ Working with Vulnerable people check

We'd be happy to discuss a suitable time during the week for a one hour visit between 9am and 4pm Monday to Sunday, visits could be weekly to fortnightly depending on your availability.
