Job Description - Consultant Gig #967–Sydney–Financial Services–Arrears and Hardship Specialist






Client







A long standing ICG client is looking for a highly experienced expert hardship and arrears specialist to join their team for up to 4 months full time or 6 months part-time











Role






Reporting to the CEO of mortgages, the accredited professional will work with the broader team to effect a reduction in customers in arrears and hardship.










Key Deliverables:



  • Baseline current approach and process and policy

  • Identify arrears for immediate improvement, based on benchmarks and industry insights

  • Identify more significant initiatives and the investments required to support them

  • Roll their sleeves up and assist with implementation



Skills and experience required:



  • Deep and proven experience in the Australian mortgage lending sector

  • Full fluency with all relevant regulation (Government and ABA)

  • Stakeholder interfacing / engaging with senior peers and credit, policy and process teams to receive required inputs / data

  • Consulting diagnostic, gap, improvement plan, operationalisation experience

Start date: Start immediately Duration:  Flexible 4-6 months











Location:  Sydney 







Rate: The net payment to the consultant will be $110K + GST, so the daily rate will be agreed based on seniority and agreed engagement days
