About the Role

Reporting to the Retail Centre Manager and based at our Trivett Automotive Retail site in Doncaster, the Sales Consultant plays a key role in delivering a seamless and engaging vehicle sales journey. You will be representing Subaru as well as other brands and act as a trusted advisor, supporting customers both in-store and online from their first enquiry through to post-delivery follow-up.


Your focus will be on delivering tailored solutions through exceptional service, expert product knowledge, and an ability to manage the end-to-end sales process with confidence. You will also be comfortable using digital tools such as Salesforce and working collaboratively with internal teams to ensure every customer interaction is efficient, flexible, and memorable.



Key Responsibilities




  • Provides detailed product knowledge during demonstrations and answers customer enquiries on vehicles, aftermarket products, and finance services.




  • Builds strong rapport with customers by explaining features/benefits, asking clarifying questions, and identifying their true needs.




  • Manages all customer appointments, test drives, delivery/handover processes, and executes trade‑ins and delivery documentation.




  • Completes customer valuations in line with sourcing strategy and ensures accurate data entry in Salesforce and the Dealer Management System (DMS).




  • Prepares and processes sales contracts accurately while meeting customer satisfaction and reputation objectives, including post‑delivery follow‑up.




  • Performs additional duties as required to support business needs.
