An exciting opportunity has become available for a Casual Dental Assistant to join our friendly and professional team at 1300SMILES Carindale. Conveniently located within Westfield Carindale, our modern practice is equipped with the latest technology and supported by a team that is committed to delivering exceptional patient care.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys working collaboratively and takes pride in helping patients feel comfortable and cared for throughout their dental journey.

We are looking for a Dental Assistant to support our clinicians and patients on:

• Tuesdays and Thursdays
• Occasional Saturdays as required

In this role, you'll play a vital part in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the practice while assisting with a variety of dental procedures and providing outstanding patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Assist our Clinicians in providing high-quality dental care to patients.
• Prepare treatment rooms and instruments for dental procedures.
• Sterilise and maintain dental instruments and equipment.
• Provide chairside assistance during dental procedures.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-operative care.
• Schedule and coordinate patient appointments.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.

About You

• Previous experience in a dental practice.
• Knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities.
• Proficiency in computer systems and dental software.
• Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and privacy.
