Dental Assistant / Receptionist - Exact Orthodontics

Exact Orthodontics is growing and we're currently seeking two new team members to join our friendly and professional Indooroopilly practice - a Full-Time Receptionist and a Casual Dental Assistant. Whether you're passionate about delivering outstanding patient experiences at the front desk or thrive in a clinical support role, we'd love to hear from you.

We're seeking experienced dental professionals who are passionate about patient care, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and enjoy being part of a supportive team.

Receptionist (Full-Time)

• Tuesday–Friday | 7:30am–5:30pm | Enjoy a 4-day work week
• We're seeking an experienced dental receptionist who can deliver exceptional patient experiences, manage appointments, handle enquiries, process payments, and keep our busy front desk running smoothly. Previous dental reception experience and knowledge of dental software (Exact preferred) will be highly regarded.

Dental Assistant (Casual)

• Join our clinical team providing chairside assistance, preparing treatment rooms, maintaining infection control standards, and supporting our orthodontists to deliver outstanding patient care. Previous dental assisting experience is preferred, with orthodontic experience viewed favourably.

To be successful in these roles, you'll bring the following skills, experience, and attributes.

Receptionist:

• Essential: Previous experience in a dental or orthodontic practice
• Experience using dental software (e.g. Exact, Dental4Windows, or similar)
• Strong communication skills and a professional, friendly approach
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask
• High attention to detail and commitment to patient confidentiality
• A team player who thrives in a busy clinical environment

Dental Assistant:

• Essential: Previous Dental Assistant experience within a dental or orthodontic practice
• Certificate III in Dental Assisting preferred
• Knowledge of infection control and sterilisation procedures
• Confident providing chairside assistance and supporting patient care
• Strong communication skills and a professional, patient-focused approach
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment
• A reliable team player with a positive attitude and strong attention to detail
