Diesel Mechanic

• Your Responsibilities: Diagnose, repair, and
  maintain diesel engines, heavy vehicles, and equipment.
  
• Conduct routine servicing and preventative
  maintenance to ensure optimal vehicle performance.
  
• Use diagnostic tools and equipment to troubleshoot mechanical and
  electrical issues.
  
• Perform engine rebuilds, transmission repairs, and
  component replacements.
  
• Work efficiently in a fast -paced environment to
  minimize downtime.
  
• Ensure compliance with workplace safety and Australian automotive
  industry standards.

Requirements

• Experience: Minimum of five years as a Diesel Mechanic in a workshop, fleet maintenance, or heavy vehicle repair environment.
  
• Skills: Strong knowledge of diesel engines, fuel systems, hydraulic systems, and electronic diagnostics.
  
• Qualifications: Trade certification in Diesel Mechanics, Heavy Vehicle Mechanics, or equivalent.
  
• Work Ethic: Attention to detail, problem -solving skills, and a commitment to high -quality workmanship.
  
• Team Player: Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
  
• English Proficiency: Basic English communication skills to meet Australian visa requirements.
  
• Police Clearance: Must provide a valid criminal record check.
