About the role

A position has become available within the Eastern Health dietetics team for a Grade 2 Dietitian, with broad-ranging clinical experience, including Renal Nutrition. The successful applicant will work as directed, as part of the team of dietitians providing service to Eastern Health, primarily within the Peter James Centre Renal Satellite Unit, but there may be a need/opportunity for travel to other Eastern Health sites. There will also be an opportunity to support the establishment of a new Dietetics Chronic Kidney Disease outpatient clinic.

This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic person with a passion for providing care to individuals impacted by renal disease to join the Dietetics team at Eastern Health. Our team is made up of Dietitians working in multidisciplinary teams across the Continuum of Care in Acute, Subacute, Care at Home and Residential Aged Care settings. We have a strong commitment to evidence-based practice and research, mentoring and staff support through regular clinical supervision and ongoing professional development. 

About you 

To be successful in this role you will possess:

Healthcare workers are strongly recommended to follow COVID vaccination recommendations provided in the Australian Immunisation handbook (based on ATAGI advice). Seasonal vaccination against influenza is a mandatory requirement of this role and an offer is conditional on this being up to date prior to employment.

Those that are offered and/or start between January and April do not require an up to date vaccination for Influenza to progress providing they are aware of its requirement later in the year. Those that are offered and/or start between May and December require the up to date Influenza vaccination prior to offer.
