Disability Support Worker (Cantonese or Mandarin -Speaking ) – Burwood, Sydney

• Provide compassionate support with daily routines, personal care, and social participation
  


• Accurately maintain records of resident goals, achievements, and incidents
  


• Communicate effectively with participants, families, and a multidisciplinary support team
  


• Uphold safety standards and promptly report any hazards or incidents
  


• Encourage independence and community engagement among residents
  


• Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities
  

Requirements

• Essential: Fluency in Cantonese and/or Mandarin
  


• Background in supporting people with dual diagnoses (mental health & disability)
  


• Experience in personal care and manual handling 
  


• Reliable with flexibility for a rotating roster including sleepover shifts                        


• Demonstrated ability to follow care plans and record accurate documentation     
  


• Team player with excellent interpersonal skills and strong commitment to participant wellbeing
  


• Current immunisation records required
