Disability Support Worker In -Home and Community Care

Migration Square is inviting applications
from suitable Disability Support Workers interested in an employment -linked
in -home and community care opportunity in NSW.

This role is suited to candidates who are
confident supporting people with disability in a respectful, person -centred,
trauma -informed, and rights -based way. The role may involve personal care,
daily living support, community access, household routines, supported
independent living support, and assistance that promotes participant dignity,
independence, safety, and inclusion.

Requirements

Minimum Requirements:

• Minimum 6 months of relevant experience in disability
  support, aged care, mental health support, personal care, or a similar
  care environment.
  
• Good English communication skills.
  
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  
• Respectful, empathetic, and person -centred approach.
  
• Ability to build rapport with participants, families, and care
  teams.
  
• Ability to follow participant support plans, workplace
  policies, and escalation procedures.
  
• High level of accountability, punctuality, and professionalism.
  
• Solution -focused mindset and ability to work under pressure.
  
• Valid Australian Driver Licence.
  
• Access to a reliable, insured vehicle.
  
• Smartphone for communication, rostering, and support logging.
  
• Willingness to work across rotating shifts, including weekends,
  sleepovers, active overnight shifts, and overtime where required.
