Dynamics 365 Solution Architect

Designing and governing the strategic Dynamics platforms. Your new role
You will lead the end-to-end architecture and design of Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Platform solutions, ensuring they are scalable, secure, and aligned with business and technology strategy. You will own platform roadmap development, provide design governance across delivery, and work closely with stakeholders and delivery teams to translate business needs into sustainable solutions while minimising technical debt.
Key Accountabilities

• Lead end-to-end solution architecture and design for Microsoft Dynamics 365 and related platforms
• Develop and maintain platform roadmaps aligned with business and technology strategy
• Translate business requirements into scalable and secure solution designs
• Provide architectural oversight across delivery, ensuring solution integrity and minimising technical debt
• Identify and manage technical risks, dependencies, and trade-offs
• Ensure safe and governed adoption of AI-enabled capabilities (e.g., Copilot features)
• Provide design assurance, including review of vendor proposals and technical solutions
• Collaborate with project and business stakeholders to ensure deliverable, high-quality outcomes
• Support business teams in understanding impacts on processes and operating models
• Develop architecture standards, patterns, and documentation
• Engage effectively with internal teams and external delivery partners
• Produce clear architecture artefacts and communication material

What you'll need to succeed

• Proven experience as a Solution Architect delivering Dynamics 365 / Power Platform solutions
• Strong expertise in solution design including data, integrations, security, and environments
• Experience defining and managing platform roadmaps and future-state architecture
• Ability to provide governance, design assurance, and manage technical risk
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills across business, technical teams, and vendors
• Excellent communication skills, translating complex concepts clearly
• Experience working in complex or regulated environments (preferred)
