This is an opportunity to join a high-profile federal ICT environment, working at the intersection of business and technology within a structured portfolio and governance framework.As part of a central Business Engagement and Design function, you will play a critical role in bridging business needs with ICT delivery, ensuring alignment between strategic objectives, stakeholder expectations, and technical outcomes.
This is not a traditional delivery role - you will operate in a strategic engagement capacity, working closely with stakeholders across the organisation to define requirements, manage expectations, and translate complex technical concepts into clear, business-focused outcomes. You will also contribute to governance, support enterprise-wide alignment, and help shape how ICT services are designed, prioritised, and delivered.

What you'll need to succeed
• Experience in business engagement, business analysis, or ICT strategy environments• Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage across technical and non-technical audiences
• Proven ability to translate business requirements into ICT outcomes and vice versa
• Experience supporting or contributing to ICT governance, strategy, or enterprise alignment activities
• Excellent communication skills, including briefing, facilitation, and stakeholder engagement
• Ability to operate in ambiguous, complex environments and manage competing priorities
• Exposure to architecture, business case development, or strategic planning is advantageous.
