Job Description - Endo Gynaecologist


Fractional Specialist Gynaecologist



  • Location: Sunshine Hospital

  • Employment Type: Part-Time, Fixed Term (until July 2026)

  • Salary: HN16-59 (commensurate with experience) + Superannuation + Salary Packaging


 


About the role:


This position would suit experienced clinicians who are able to contribute to our specialist endo gynaecology team.


 


The roles involve gynaecology outpatient clinics, gynaecology surgical lists and teaching and training of junior medical staff. 


 


The service is a training center for Fellowship of The Royal Australian & New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologist and is supported by 25 registrars and 30 HMOs or Senior HMOs. 


 


With an expressed aim of becoming the best O&G training Centre in Australia, experience in supporting trainees and ensuring their advancement would be valuable.

Key responsibilities:


Providing high quality clinical care to the patients in Outpatient Clinics, Surgical lists, and to supervise and train Junior Medical Staff and support Western Health Strategic Priorities. 


 


About you:



  • Medical qualification - FRANZCOG 



  • Current Australian medical registration with AHPRA 



  • Relevant clinical experience and clinical competence required for level of position, specifically an AGES fellowship or equivalent 



  • Experience in the support and supervision of Junior Medical Staff

Western Health also provides the primary healthcare service at the Dame Phyllis Frost Centre; a women’s prison located in Ravenhall.
