The Opportunity
The Enforcement Trailer Operator (ETO) plays a vital role in the safe transportation and setup of our Enforcement Trailers, following a schedule set by our valued customers. This casual position offers 2 fixed days per week (approx. 15-20 hours), providing a perfect balance of work and flexibility. You'll be equipped with a suitable vehicle to tow the trailers, giving you the opportunity to enjoy extensive regional driving during each shift. As an ETO, you’ll work near moving traffic and in various weather conditions, but don’t worry—we provide comprehensive training and ongoing support to ensure you perform your duties confidently and safely.
What You’ll Do
Expertly and securely towa 2,000kg trailer: Each shift, you'll receive precise coordinates for where to place the trailer. Our state-of-the-art trailers are equipped with advanced mechanical, electrical, computer, camera, and communication systems that demand meticulous care during transport to prevent any unnecessary damage or wear.
Prioritise safety: Always adhere to the training and safety protocols to protect yourself and those around you, ensuring a secure work environment.
Perform maintenance: Take charge of cleaning, conduct minor maintenance tasks, and proactively recognise when the trailer needs professional workshop servicing.
What We’re Looking For
Passion for Driving: Thrives on hitting the road for long distances, working independently with a valid driver's license and a spotless driving record.
Mechanical Enthusiast: Enjoys exploring and understanding mechanical equipment, especially small diesel engines, with a keen mechanical intuition.
Committed to Safety: Skilled at performing risk assessments, managing potential hazards, and making informed decisions to ensure the safety of yourself, the community, and equipment.
Energetic Team Player: Brings enthusiasm, positivity, and a proactive attitude to every aspect of your work.
Flexible Schedule: Ready and willing to work a rotating roster on specified days, adapting to the needs of the role.
Adaptable & Curious: Comfortable with technology and mobile devices, always eager to learn and grow.
