This fixed-term opportunity will support a major Adelaide pipeline project, with the role expected to run from October 2026 to February 2028 and potential extension for the right applicant.
About this role
We’re seeking an experienced Environmental Manager to lead environmental management and compliance for a major pipeline project in Adelaide, South Australia. This is a site-based leadership role with direct accountability for the project’s environmental management system, approvals and licence compliance, field implementation, reporting, regulator interface and environmental risk controls. The role requires a practical, construction-focused environmental leader who can work closely with project management, construction teams, subcontractors and the client to prevent environmental incidents, drive accountability, and ensure works are delivered in accordance with project, regulatory and permitting requirements.

The role is based in Adelaide, South Australia, supporting a 1-2 year pipeline project. The preferred candidate will be local to Adelaide; however, fly-in fly-out arrangements may be considered for the right applicant. The position is expected to commence in October 2026 and continue through to February 2028, with potential extension subject to project requirements and candidate suitability. Construction operates on an 11-hour workday during active project delivery, and the project is anticipated to operate seven days per week. The Environmental Manager will be required to work an agreed construction roster to meet the role’s responsibilities.
