About the Company...

Our client is a bespoke business and academic English coaching agency; they work with professional people to deliver customised results. They are looking to add a tutor to their Sydney based team to work in the inner Sydney suburbs and CBD area, as well as having the ability to deliver lessons online as required.

About the Position...

You will go onsite to the location of the student, which is generally their workplace or a public venue (e.g. library) and be flexible to deliver lessons before, after and during work hours. Depending on your availability, you may have one student or take on more depending on what work is available at the time. Youâll use either Zoom or Skype to deliver online lessons (or similar technology).
Some flexibility with availability would be an advantage. Must be available during business hours, and/or outside of business hours (i.e. evenings and weekends).

You'll need to have experience teaching professional non-native English speakers and designing your own course work and lessons based on individual needs.

The Ideal Candidateâ¦

The ideal candidate will have the following:
- An undergraduate degree (doesn't need to be teaching related)
- An English language teaching qualification (CELTA is preferred)
- Corporate English coaching experience is desirable
- Current driverâs license and access to a vehicle (or ability to travel) for face-to-face lessons to conduct lessons in Sydney CBD.

- Location near Sydney CBD would be an advantage.
- An Australian Business Number (ABN)
- Experience in online tutoring
- Strong communication skills and a passion to teach English
- Sound level of computing skills, including the use of Microsoft Word and Excel
- Able to use online platforms for learning such as Zoom

Desirable:
- Experience in coaching individuals who are required to pass the IELTS/PTE/OET exam.
