Executive Assistant

What the role is all about:

This is a high-impact Executive Assistant role supporting the Chief Product Officer. You will be a trusted partner operating at the centre of one of REA’s most dynamic leadership teams. You will provide high-level executive support that enables the Chief Product Officer to lead effectively, stay focused on strategic priorities, and create impact across the Product organisation.

In addition to executive support responsibilities, this role also includes leadership of 3 Team Assistants, helping drive consistency, strong ways of working, and a high-performing support function across the broader Product leadership team.

A strategic partner: You will provide seamless executive support that enables the Chief Product Officer to focus on leadership priorities, strategic decision-making and business impact. From complex diary management and travel coordination to preparing executive materials, leadership forums and planning sessions, you will stay ahead of priorities and help create leverage across the Product team..
Driving momentum: You will create structure, rhythm and momentum across the Product organisation, helping the Chief Product Officer and leadership team stay focused on priorities, simplify complexity, and move work forward effectively.

A people leader: You will lead 3 Team Assistants across Product, helping build a high-performing and collaborative support function. Through coaching, development, workload prioritisation and clear operational standards, you will strengthen capability and consistency across the wider team.
Communication: You will build trusted relationships across leadership teams and key business partners, ensuring strong communication flow across the Product organisation.
One team: You will play an active role within both the Product leadership environment and the broader EA and administrative support community. Collaboration, continuity of support, and building strong cross-functional relationships will be key to helping the business operate effectively.

This is a senior role. We’re looking for:

• Significant experience supporting C-Suite or senior executive leaders in a complex organisation
• Demonstrated people leadership experience
• Events and project management experience
• Exceptional judgement, discretion and ability to manage confidential information
• Strong stakeholder management, communication and influencing skills
• Strong organisational and project coordination capability
• Ability to operate proactively, independently and with high ownership
• High emotional intelligence, resilience and calm under pressure
• Experience in a ASX listed company
