Your role


 


Join Homes NSW and play a key role in supporting senior leadership to deliver quality housing outcomes for communities across New South Wales.


 


This is an exciting opportunity for a highly organised and proactive Executive Assistant to provide high-level executive and administrative support within a fast-paced and purpose-driven environment.


 


Based in Parramatta, you'll work closely with senior leaders, managing competing priorities, coordinating business activities, and ensuring the efficient operation of executive functions. The role offers hybrid working arrangements and requires travel to Coniston approximately once per fortnight to support business needs and stakeholder engagement.


 


 This position is ideal for a professional who thrives in a dynamic environment, enjoys building strong relationships, and takes pride in delivering exceptional administrative support. 


 


What you’ll do


 


As part of the Homes NSW team, you'll provide professional executive support that enables leaders and teams to focus on delivering critical housing services across NSW. You will:


 



  • Provide high-level executive and administrative support while exercising discretion, initiative and confidentiality.

  • Manage complex calendars, meetings, travel arrangements and competing priorities.

  • Coordinate responses to urgent requests for information, briefings and correspondence.

  • Prepare presentations, reports, meeting papers and other business documentation.

  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Support the coordination and continuous improvement of business processes and administrative systems.

  • Monitor and manage workflows, ensuring deadlines and key deliverables are met.

  • Provide support for meetings, workshops and executive events, including logistics and follow-up actions.


 


You'll join a collaborative and supportive team that values professionalism, accountability and customer service while delivering essential services to communities across NSW. 


 


What we’re looking for


 



  • Demonstrated experience providing executive or senior administrative support in a complex environment.

  • Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and competing deadlines.

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. ·

  • High attention to detail and the ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion.

  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel.

  • A proactive, adaptable and solutions-focused approach.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.


 


Essential Requirements



  • Demonstrated experience providing executive support to senior leaders.

  • Ability to travel to Coniston approximately once per fortnight.

  • Current NSW Class C Driver Licence or ability to travel independently to required work locations.


 


Desirable



  • Experience working within the NSW Government or a large, complex organisation.

  • Experience coordinating executive correspondence, briefings and governance activities.

  • Knowledge of records management systems and business administration processes.

  • Certificate IV or higher qualification in Business Administration or a related discipline.
