Australian Country Choice is seeking expressions of interest from motivated and capable employees who are interested in progressing their careers into the role of Leading Hand – Cold Stores. About the Role:

Reporting to the Cold Stores Supervisor, the Leading Hand is responsible for providing day-to-day leadership and support to the Cold Stores team while ensuring operational targets, quality standards and safety requirements are achieved.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading and supporting team members to achieve daily production and operational objectives.
• Promoting and maintaining a strong safety culture.
• Coordinating workflow to maximise efficiency and productivity.
• Ensuring compliance with quality, food safety and Company procedures.
• Providing coaching, guidance and on-the-job training to team members.
• Assisting with inventory management, product movements and dispatch activities.
• Supporting continuous improvement initiatives within the department.

About You:

• A current Forklift Licence (LF)
