The Position…

With the recent growth in their business, they are currently seeking an experienced, motivated and talented Boilermaker / Fabrication Leading Hand to join the team in their engineering facility.

Key responsibilities include:

• Plate fabrication
  


• Sheet metal fabrication
  


• Working with stainless steel, aluminium, and mild steel products
  


• Body building
  


• Setting up and delegating projects
  

• Normal day shift hours - 10.5 hours Monday to Thursday; 6 hours Friday
  


• Normal night shift hours - 11 hours Monday to Thursday (with loading)
  


• Over time when required
  

The Ideal Candidate… 

The ideal candidate will have the following:

• Trade certificate relevant to your trade
  


• Minimum of 3 years’ experience post apprenticeship
  


• Experience in Flux core and MIG welding
  


• Experience in TIG (preferred, but not essential)
  


• Skilled in plate work fabrication
  


• Valid Australian C Class drivers’ license
  


• Full Australian work rights
  


• Current High-Risk License – Forklift/dogging (preferred, but not essential)
  


• National police clearance (or willing to obtain)
  


• Strong commitment to safety and quality
  


• Motivated, hard-working, and a positive attitude
  


• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  


• Ability to work well in a team
  


• Intermediate computer skills (preferred, but not essential)
