Job Description - Facility Manager




We are seeking a Residential Aged Care Facility Manager for a small not- for -profit residential aged care facility, servicing Hillston and surrounding communities. Aged care experience is a prerequisite to step into a management role at an amazing facility renowned for its caring and compassionate culture.







The Manager will be coordinating and leading the care team in a supportive and flexible working environment. The facility has an excellent local reputation with a community feel, run by a progressive board committed to development and growth.


Requirements

Key Requirements 

·           Registered Nurse or Qualified within a professional field

·           Ability to relate well to older people and their families

·           Successful and proven management experience with proven leadership skills

·           Able to manage a diverse team of people within aged care, hotel, or hospitality

·           Knowledge of Aged Care Accreditation and desire to learn

·           Highly organised and a self-motivated person

·           Interpersonal skills with an ability to grasp, investigate, disarm, and solve issues 

·           People management experience – including performance, selection, development, and attendance management

·           Flu and Covid-19 vaccine

 

Key Performances Area



​

Quality & Compliance:

·           Ensures that the facility is compliant at all times.

·           Maintains a high standard of care delivery and services to residents at all times.

Human Resources:

·           Manages staff and roster effectively to ensure delivery of care and services to a consistently high standard within budget.

·           Ensures minimal staffing or industrial issues.

A.C.F.I:

·           Manages A.C.F.I. to ensure income is appropriately claimed for resident care needs and required service provision

·           Ensures claims are accurate and all documentation is provided to minimise losses or increases of income at validation.

Operations:

·           Manages the facility to ensure it is operating efficiently and within agreed budget.

·           Manages occupancy and ensures this is maximised at a consistent level.

·           Goods and services are provided consistently at a high standard.

Stakeholder Satisfaction:

·           Ensures that residents and other stakeholders have a consistent level of satisfaction with the care and services provided.
