Our client is a not-for-profit organisation, committed to providing high-quality, personalised aged care for the Tenterfield community and surrounds.

The Location:







Tenterfield, New South Wales, is a delightful town nestled in the picturesque New England region. Renowned for its stunning landscapes, including rolling hills and national parks, Tenterfield offers a tranquil rural lifestyle. The town is known for its historic architecture, a vibrant arts scene, and various cultural events and is located in the north-eastern part of New South Wales, serving as a gateway to Queensland and providing easy access to nearby national parks and scenic drives, offering a prime location for outdoor enthusiasts and nature lovers.







The Role:







We are seeking an experienced Facility Manager to lead a facility based in Tenterfield. This role is responsible for achieving the organisation’s strategic priorities and goals and ensuring overall performance, capability, and sustainability. The Facility Manager is also expected to achieve organisational growth through strengthening and expanding existing services.







Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the functional responsibilities of this role include care governance, financial management, human resource management, sales and marketing, environmental services, and general administration.







It is essential that you understand the residential Aged Care environment and standards and have a high level of empathy and compassion for residents. This role is a permanent full-time position.







What you will do:







The Facility Manager is responsible for the below, but not limited to:







  • Keeping residents engaged and enabling them to live their best life

  • Leading and inspiring your team to deliver an outstanding resident experience

  • Managing the budget and ensuring resources are used wisely

  • Ensuring residents receive safe, high-quality care

  • Ensure that the residential service is managed in accordance with policies and procedures and in full compliance with the Aged Care Quality Standards regulatory requirements

  • Deliver strong financial sustainability

  • Who are you and what will you bring?


Requirements



  • 5 years experience in a management role in the aged care setting.

  • Registered Nurse qualification & AHPRA registration is desirable.

  • People management and leadership experience.

  • Tertiary qualifications in business, finance, or management are highly desirable.

  • Currently hold and maintain NDIS Clearance or willing to obtain.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • NDIS Check

  • 2 doses COVID-19 Vaccination
