Factory and Production Worker | Permanent Position

As a result of organic growth and expansion, they are actively seeking a Factory and Production worker to join their growing team on a permanent full time basis.

The Position…

Working in their Carole Park facility, you will be supporting various teams with a number of tasks related to the manufacturing and assembly of their products. Further duties include:

• Assembly of products
  


• Operating equipment
  


• Wood cutting, 
  


• Offside packing
  


• Preservation wrapping
  


• Use of basic hand and power tools as required such as drills, reciprocating saws, tape measure, pallet machine, impact drivers, nail guns, and hack saws
  


• Ensure cleanliness of plant
  


• Working safely at all times to protect your own health and safety, and the health and safety of everyone with whom you work, and any other person who is at the worksite
  

Positions in the manufacturing department rotate every few weeks, for variety and development of staff capabilities.

The Ideal Candidate…

You will possess the following skills and experience:

• Pallet/timber machinery experience (Ideal)
  


• Forklift licence (Preferable)
  


• Positive work attitude
  


• Good communication skills
  


• Dependable and punctual
  


• Accurate tape-measure skills
  


• Self-motivated with a continuous improvement attitude
  


• Demonstrated ability to promote teamwork principles, integrity and honesty
