We are looking for a hands-on Factory Supervisor to lead daily operations at our destruction facility.
You will work with the State Manager and other teams to make sure operations run safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
This role suits someone who is mechanically minded, comfortable with technology, and confident making decisions on the floor in a fast-paced environment.
What you will do
- Lead daily site operations to meet production and service targets
- Oversee sorting, processing, and dispatch of materials
- Operate and troubleshoot shredding and processing equipment
- Reduce downtime by identifying and fixing issues quickly
- Manage vehicle movements, including safe loading and unloading
- Keep the site clean, organised, and running smoothly
- Track performance using systems and reports
- Improve processes to increase efficiency and reduce waste
- Manage staff, equipment, and workload to maximise output
- Train, coach, and support team members
- Work with customer service, logistics, and sales teams
- Ensure safety and compliance with WHS, EPA, and NAID AAA standards
- Keep accurate records and reports
What we are looking for
- Experience in production, manufacturing, logistics, or similar high-volume work
- Supervisory or team leadership experience
- Mechanical and equipment knowledge
- Forklift licence (preferred)
- Comfortable using systems and technology
- Strong focus on safety and following procedures
- Good communication and leadership skills
- Organised and able to manage competing priorities
- Problem-solving and adaptable approach
- Experience with compliance standards is a plus
