Factory Supervisor

We are looking for a hands-on Factory Supervisor to lead daily operations at our destruction facility.

You will work with the State Manager and other teams to make sure operations run safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.

This role suits someone who is mechanically minded, comfortable with technology, and confident making decisions on the floor in a fast-paced environment.

What you will do

• Lead daily site operations to meet production and service targets


• Oversee sorting, processing, and dispatch of materials


• Operate and troubleshoot shredding and processing equipment


• Reduce downtime by identifying and fixing issues quickly


• Manage vehicle movements, including safe loading and unloading


• Keep the site clean, organised, and running smoothly


• Track performance using systems and reports


• Improve processes to increase efficiency and reduce waste


• Manage staff, equipment, and workload to maximise output


• Train, coach, and support team members


• Work with customer service, logistics, and sales teams


• Ensure safety and compliance with WHS, EPA, and NAID AAA standards


• Keep accurate records and reports

What we are looking for

• Experience in production, manufacturing, logistics, or similar high-volume work


• Supervisory or team leadership experience


• Mechanical and equipment knowledge


• Forklift licence (preferred)


• Comfortable using systems and technology


• Strong focus on safety and following procedures


• Good communication and leadership skills


• Organised and able to manage competing priorities


• Problem-solving and adaptable approach


• Experience with compliance standards is a plus
