As a Finance Manager in the Financial Control team, you will oversee the accuracy and integrity of the bank’s financial reporting and compliance processes. You will provide strategic insights, manage regulatory requirements, and support senior leadership in achieving financial objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation of financial statements and ensure compliance with accounting standards (IFRS) and regulatory requirements.
• Manage month-end and year-end closing processes, including reconciliations and reporting.
• Develop, monitor, and enhance financial controls to safeguard the bank’s assets and ensure process efficiency.
• Collaborate with internal and external auditors to facilitate smooth audit processes.
• Provide financial analysis and strategic insights to support business decision-making.
• Oversee regulatory reporting, ensuring timely and accurate submissions to authorities.
• Drive process improvement initiatives to enhance reporting accuracy and efficiency.
• Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.

About You
You are a results-driven finance professional with strong leadership and technical expertise. You thrive in a dynamic environment and have a proven track record in financial management within the banking or financial services sector.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. A CPA or CA qualification is essential.
• Minimum of 5] years of experience in financial management, preferably within banking or financial services.
• Strong knowledge of financial control principles, regulatory frameworks, and reporting standards.
• Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
• Proficiency in financial systems and tools (e.g., ERP systems, Microsoft Excel).
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proven leadership abilities with experience in managing and developing teams.
