Financial Accountant

Key Performance Outputs

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial
  statements 
  
• Maintain general ledger accuracy through journal entry review and approvals 
  
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts and stock movements across sites 
  
• Ensure inventory and budgetary adjustments are reflected appropriately 
  
• Review and correct GL allocations; assess provision and accrual needs 
  
• Maintain and update the fixed asset register; run monthly depreciation 
  
• Conduct on -site verification of stock counts with farm -based teams 
  
• Draft dashboard reporting and assist with cash flow analysis for Treasury 
  
• Support BAS, ATO returns, and assist with external audits 
  
• Investigate outstanding purchase orders and system discrepancies 
  
• Cross -check and release creditors’ payments 
  
• Manage and evaluate foreign currency transactions and balance
  

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field (essential) 
  
• CA or CPA qualified, or currently enrolled and
  progressing toward certification (preferred) 
  
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a financial
  accounting or similar role 
  
• Valid Australian driver’s license 
  
• Willingness to travel to farm sites within WA
  (day travel)
  
• This is a
  split role, typically spending part of the week in the Perth office and part
  on -site at farms within day -travel distance
  

• Strong understanding of financial reporting, compliance, and accounting principles
  
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems (NetSuite advantageous)
  
• Ability to work across complex, multi -site environments (agribusiness experience a plus)
  
• High attention to detail with strong analytical capability
