ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

Application Support Analyst role to support customers (banks, brokers, hedge funds) who are using the organisations financial trading applications & products.

You'll wear 'multiple hats' ranging from technical support to product implementation, upgrades, migrations, and client onboarding.

Hybrid working available and you'll be required to work Saturday (remotely) + 4 other days in the week (of your choice).

Responsibilities include:

• Provide technical support, investigation, triage, troubleshooting, and resolution to customers using the firm's trading applications.
• Server-side trade investigation.
• Analyze messages, logs, and sources to determine root cause analysis.
• Implement Plan, support and deploy implementations of these trading platforms into client environments.
• Support clients via phone, email and video.
• Work hours are 10am-6pm / 8am-4pm (daylight savings / non-daylight savings time)
• Requirement to work on Saturday + 4 other days of your choice.
• Project involvement including:
• Product implementation into client environment- plan, support deploy
• Manage application upgrades & migrations
• Client onboarding activities
• Liquidity integrations with customers.

REQUIRED BACKGROUND / KNOWLEDGE / EXPERIENCE / PERSONAL QUALITIES

Suitable for Support Analyst with server side troubleshooting skills and understanding of financial trading and broking (end-to-end order flows, markets, pricing, execution etc) to be able to perform trade investigations.

Well suited to someone with a retail / institutional broker, trade operations, risk analyst, or application support background who wants to learn.

Ideal for someone seeking non-conventional working hours with flexibility (incl WFH).

The following is required:

• Proven experience in financial trading such as retail or institutional broking with good understanding of end-to-end order flows + capable of performing trade investigations.
• Windows server troubleshooting skills.
• Demonstrate willingness & ability to research, absorb and learn new ideas/concepts.
• Clear ability to effectively prioritize inside busy broking environments.
• Financial markets knowledge - FX, CFDs, derivatives, crypto, equities etc
• MetaTrader experience MT4/5 is beneficial.
• Great team player.
• Able to work Saturday + 4 other days in the week (of your choice).

This is a full time permanent role located North of the Sydney CBD (hybrid working) and is offering $100,000 - $130,000 (plus super) + bonus potential.
