Field Maintenance Trade Mechanical Fitter 

Smithfield NSW based position with possible interstate travel.

Due to our growing business demands, we have an exciting opportunity for the right person to join our team working in the cranes, conveyors and maintenance equipment industry. 

Reporting to the Engineering Manager, the successful candidate should be Trade Qualified, have previous hands on experience as a Mechanical Fitter with maintenance and installation experience.

Responsibilities:

You will be responsible for the following:

• Diagnose the root cause of problems and installation of new equipment
• Create and implement installation and maintenance procedures (general mechanical & some electrical)
• Source parts, accessories and components
• Liaise with customers/some sales assistance 

Previous experience with cranes, conveyors, and material handling equipment would be advantageous.
