Fleet Controller

We are seeking an experienced Fleet Controller to manage our fleet operations, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, cost management, and the efficient running of logistics. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who is passionate about fleet management, team leadership, and operational efficiency.

What you’ll be doing:

• Ensure compliance with Work Health & Safety standards, company policies, legislation, and the chain of responsibility within the team.
• Monitor and manage fatigue levels within the team, reporting on any hazards or incidents as required.
• Daily allocation of work and controlled supervision of team activities.
• Oversee fleet management and performance reporting.
• Coordinate FCL depot and customer movements, ensuring alignment with agreed requirements.
• Oversee P&L (Profit and Loss) and manage cost control measures.
• Maintain effective stakeholder communication to meet agreed service standards.
• Provide guidance, training, and support to the team to enhance performance.

What we’re looking for:

• Experience in a similar fleet management or logistics role.
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong leadership abilities with experience in directing and motivating teams.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills.
• Proven ability to prioritise, coordinate, and make decisions effectively.
• Experience in fatigue management and adherence to safe working practices.
