FMS Technician

Job Responsibilities

Join the Telfer Gold Mine Maintenance team as an FMS Technician and be responsible to install, service, repair and replace electronic systems in various Mobile plant. These systems improve efficiency and accuracy for production and all-round safety for mobile plant while in open-pit environment.

Location: The Telfer Gold Mine is located in the Great Sandy Desert in the East Pilbara region of Western Australia and produces copper and gold. Site facilities include a gymnasium, swimming pool and recreational areas.

About the role:
FIFO from Perth
2:2 day and night roster

Roles and Responsibilities but are not limited to:
•    Installation and commissioning of the FMS equipment on the mine equipment;
•    FMS System Maintenance inclusive on breakdown repairs and routine preventative checks;
•    Integration and troubleshooting with third party systems that utilise the Modular Mining communications network for data transmission; and
•    Ensure all relevant documents are submitted efficiently and accurately on time for processing.

About you:
•    Previous experience in a familiar role, preferably in surface mining environment; 
•    Relevant Australia recognised trade certificate; 
•    Previous experience repairing and maintaining Modular Mining equipment;
•    Demonstrated expertise with communications/network infrastructure software;
•    Exceptional diagnostic and troubleshooting skills; 
•    Demonstrating commitment to Macmahon safety culture and values; and 
•    Current C Class Drivers Licence.
