Forklift Operator

Job Purpose

We are currently seeking experienced Forklift Operators with Twin-Tyne experience to join our Contract Logistics team based ta Fisherman’s Island, Brisbane. In this role, you’ll play an important part in our day-to-day warehouse operations, safely operating forklifts, moving and storing bulk palletised freight, loading and unloading freight and using RF scanning equipment.

We have permanent full-time and casual opportunities available on the day shift, working Monday to Friday starting from 5:45am, with overtime opportunities available.

Key Accountabilities:

• Safely operate forklifts including Twin-Tyne attachments to move and position freight 

• Load and unload trucks and containers safely and efficiently 

• Use RF scanning equipment to accurately record stock movements 

• Complete pre-start checks and report any equipment, safety or operational issues 

• Maintain a clean and safe warehouse while working collaboratively to meet daily operational targets

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

• Current and valid Forklift Licence with demonstrated Twin-Tyne experience 

• Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics or distribution environment 

• Experience using RF scanning equipment is desirable 

• Strong commitment to workplace health and safety 

• Good communication and teamwork skills 

• Reliable and punctual with a positive hands-on approach
