The company is an Australian family-owned and operated prestige vehicle smash repair business that has been in operation for over 48 years. The panel shop is located in Clayton South and services the Bayside area and the southeast corridor. They have a 20,000-square-foot state-of-the-art workshop with modern equipment and work practices. They are a well-respected verified vehicle repairer and have achieved stringent accreditation and standards to be an authorised repairer of Peugeot vehicles. They provide quality and professionalism, and they strive for complete customer satisfaction. With recent growth in their business, they are seeking a qualified panel beater or spray painter to join their professional and supportive team. 

The Position…

The company is looking for an experienced, enthusiastic and motivated Panel Beater or Spray Painter to work in their workshop in Clayton South.

The Ideal Candidate…

The ideal candidate will have the following:

• Trade qualified Panel Beater or Spray Painter
  


• Minimum Experience required is 3 years (5+ years preferred)
  


• Possess a can do attitude
  


• Willing to work overtime where required
  


• Efficient and hard-working
  


• High attention to detail
  


• Takes great pride in their work
  


• Strong work ethic
  

• Experienced in performing minor, major, and structural repairs
  


• Experienced with body alignment systems (preferable however not essential; e.g. Car-O-Liner, car bench etc.)
  


• Must be knowledgeable in adhering to OEM repair standards & procedures
  


• Experienced in spot welding techniques
  


• Existing qualifications in I-CAR and other industry training certification advantageous
  


• Successful applicants will receive ongoing I-CAR, industry and OEM training and certification
  

Spray Painter specific requirements:

• Experienced in preparation work and colour matching
  


• Knowledge in PPG Envirobase Waterborne (preferable however not essential)
  


• Must be knowledgeable in adhering to OEM repair standards & procedures
