About the Role
This 12-month fixed-term opportunity will play a critical role in strengthening UOW's compliance with research funding obligations and uplifting key services, processes and governance practices across the research lifecycle. Working as a subject matter expert in research grant funder compliance and university research management compliance, you will collaborate with Research Services and other UOW professional services teams to understand external research funding obligations, assess gaps and risks, implement sustainable improvements and embed compliant practices into grants administration and contracting workflows.

The Research Services Division sits within the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Research and Innovation) portfolio and provides integrated support across the research projects and funding lifecycle. The team partners closely with faculties, researchers and professional services teams to deliver high-quality research funding, grants administration and research support services, helping to foster a high-performing research culture at UOW.
