Specialist Plus in Adelaide, SA is seeking General Medical Officer to join our team. As a General Medical Officer, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care in work related injury. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic and collaborative environment, applying your clinical expertise to make a meaningful difference in the lives of the workers. Furthermore, there is opportunity to advance your training into Occupational Physician under the guidance of Dr Dion Suyapto (MBBS,LLB,GDOH,FACLM,FAFOEM)

What you'll be doing

• Conducting comprehensive patient assessments and developing personalized treatment plans
• Diagnosing and managing a wide range of medical conditions, including acute and chronic illnesses
• Collaborating closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and effective patient care
• Documenting patient records, ordering diagnostic tests, and prescribing medications as appropriate
• Participating in regular meetings and case discussions to share knowledge and best practices
• Staying up-to-date with the latest medical advancements and guidelines to provide evidence-based care

What we're looking for

• Registered medical practitioner with a valid medical degree and current AHPRA registration
• Minimum of 2-3 years' experience as a General Medical Officer or in a similar role
• Strong clinical skills and the ability to diagnose and manage a diverse range of medical conditions
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development and evidence-based practice
• Familiarity with the healthcare system and relevant regulations in South Australia
