General Services Assistant - Kiosk

Multiple casual positions available

$31.08 to $33.84 per hour (this includes the casual loading allowance) + penalty

About the Role
This is a great opportunity to join our supportive and professional Food Services team at Grampians Health – Horsham. Working across a 7 day rotating roster between 6.30am and 7.45 pm, this casual role supports the delivery of nutritious meals to patients, residents and clients. You’ll assist with food preparation, plating, delivery, and general cleaning duties to maintain a high standard of service and hygiene in our kitchen. Additional shifts may be available.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, plate and deliver meals and beverages


• Clean dishes, equipment and kitchen areas


• Maintain adequate supplies and storage areas


• Record and report as directed by the Food Services Manager


• Support training of new staff and ongoing team education


• Cooperate with team and assist in daily service operations

Skills & Experience

• Experience in a food services or kitchen role


• Good time management and task organisation


• Effective communication and teamwork skills


• Understanding of food hygiene and cleanliness (HACCP)


• Experience with cleaning procedures and kitchen standards
