About the role
The position will be designated Monash Health as one of the key stakeholders with the aim to advance the recommendations of the Royal Commission into Victoria’s Mental Health System (RCVMHS) in Eastern region of Victoria (Monash), through provision of clinical support, education and engagement. The goal of these activities will be to grow stakeholder’s clinical staff capacity to manage co-occurring disorders. Co-location with stakeholder agency will be the preferred mode of service delivery. The role will support the development of in-house integrated treatment capacity and related initiatives that are responsive to local needs. The Hamilton Centre Eastern Registered Nurse (HCERN) role will oversee all aspects of the process of increasing clinician skills, through working with the Hamilton Centre East team as the clinician in the field or off-site liaising with management and existing local co-occurring disorder champions and portfolio holders to establish service strengths and identify service gaps and opportunities.

To be successful in this role you will possess:
Healthcare workers are strongly recommended to follow COVID vaccination recommendations provided in the Australian Immunisation handbook (based on ATAGI advice). Seasonal vaccination against influenza is a mandatory requirement of this role and an offer is conditional on this being up to date prior to employment.
Those that are offered and/or start between January and April do not require an up to date vaccination for Influenza to progress providing they are aware of its requirement later in the year. Those that are offered and/or start between May and December require the up-to-date Influenza vaccination prior to offer.
