What Youâll Do:
As our Head Chef, you will work to lead, inspire, and manage our fast-paced kitchen operations. You will play a critical role in maintaining food quality, training junior team members, and guiding the kitchen staff. Your key responsibilities include;
· Lead Service: Oversee food preparation, cooking, and plating to ensure every dish meets our strict standards for taste and presentation.
· Team Management: Mentor, train, and motivate line cooks, apprentices, and kitchen hands to maintain a positive, efficient work environment.
· Kitchen Operations: Manage daily prep lists, kitchen rostering, and enforce strict cleaning schedules.
· Inventory Control: Assist with food ordering, stock rotation, minimising wastage, and monthly stocktakes.
· Safety & Compliance: Enforce exceptional food hygiene practices and maintain full compliance with food safety and HACCP regulations.
· Menu Development: Collaborate with the other chefs on seasonal menu designs and daily specials. Keep stock levels in check, manage keg changes, and make our products pop.
