Head of Technology Governance

As Head of Technology Governance, you will lead the enterprise governance framework ensuring technology strategy, architecture, delivery and cyber security are aligned to business objectives, risk appetite and regulatory requirements. You will drive consistent, high-quality decision-making across the technology lifecycle, overseeing architecture, change and cyber governance to ensure investments deliver value, risks are effectively managed, and platforms remain secure, resilient and fit for purpose. 

Key Responsibilities

  Lead enterprise technology strategy, pipeline and roadmap governance to drive alignment with business priorities

  Oversee prioritisation and delivery of initiatives, ensuring value realisation, transparency and execution confidence

  Establish and govern enterprise architecture standards, guiding scalable, sustainable and fit for purpose solutions

  Drive effective change and release management to enable safe, reliable and low risk delivery of technology changes

  Provide clear visibility of priorities, risks and outcomes to support informed, timely decision making 

  
  

• 
  

  Lead cyber governance, ensuring strong risk oversight, control effectiveness and transparent reporting across the technology landscape 

  
  

About You 

To be considered you will need a minimum of 15 years’ experience delivering and supporting technology solutions within complex enterprise environments, preferably within financial services or investment management domains, plus at least five years’ leading technical leads across Architecture, Delivery, Change and Security. In addition, experience in establishing and leading governance frameworks across technology strategy, portfolio/pipeline, architecture, cyber security, and change management, while building and maintaining effective working relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation is essential.
