This position leads the Salvos Home care and CHSP Allied health team, managing day to day operation of allied health programs and services to deliver best practice health and aged care. Our Home Care services provide care and support to elderly people to assist them to remain living independently in their own homes for as long as possible.

Reporting directly to and working with the Salvos Home Care General Manager, the Home Care Manager will work to further develop our Support at Home Services in Adelaide, South Australia. Goals, timelines, and budgets are developed and implemented to achieve client outcomes while developing allied health and home care services in accordance with the Salvos Home Care strategic plan.


Our Home Care services provide care and support to elderly people to assist them to remain living independently in their own homes for as long as possible.

The ideal candidate will have the following:


  • Minimum degree level qualification in Aged care, Allied Health, Nursing or related field, ideally complemented with a Business or Health administration qualification.
  • Minimum 5 years professional work experience including within aged care, including within Home Care.
  • Excellent communication skills with proven ability to build and maintain effective internal and external stakeholders relationships
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively lead and support a multi-disciplinary team to achieve best practice client outcomes
  • demonstrated ability to work autonomously, ideally in both developing and managing the ongoing operation of a health or aged care service and as a member of a wider leadership team
