Primary Duties:

• Deliver morning papers.


• Deliver and collect linen between laundry and service areas. 


• Complete assigned jobs, working systematically, from the lower floors to the higher floors.


• Advise the Supervisor of store requirements for the service areas and housekeeping cage.


• Ensure the entire service is kept clean and tidy at all times.


• Stack and clean service areas and room attendants trolleys, maintaining the par level of guest amenities and linen requirements for guest rooms.


• Collect rubbish and linen from hub areas, corridors and service areas.


• Move furniture and equipment when requested.


• Carry out cyclic cleaning in guest rooms when required.


• Respond immediately to requests to deliver guest requirements.


• Ensure that both housekeeping cages are kept clean and tidy, ensuring all equipment is covered eg. rollaways, cots, highchairs and prams.


• Ensure that a correct handover takes place with the following shift.
