We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to lead the HR function for the Shimano Oceania Holdings (SOH) group.
In this role the incumbent will collaborate with senior management in the planning, implementation and delivery of operational human resources, whilst providing high level advisory on complex people and workplace matters, HR compliance and operational strategies across the SOH group.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Manage the development, maintenance and effective delivery of the entire HR lifecycle
Recruitment, Selection, Onboarding, Induction and probationary periods
Organisation charts upkeep
Training and Development
Performance appraisals, remuneration reviews
Work, Health and Safety
Staff Wellbeing, Onsite Vaccinations and EAP programs
Workers Compensation, Return to work programs
Liaise with stakeholders to manage the application requirements for VISA’s and work permit sponsorships.
Grievance handling, investigations, conflict resolution and disciplinary management
Performance management, underperformance
Separation processes and exit interviews
Coordinate workforce training, including all induction processed procedures.
Provide advice and guidance to management and staff, in relation to employment conditions including leave entitlements, award and policy interpretation and the appropriate handling of workplace issues
Maintain data required for WGEA report period and ensure WGEA deadlines are adhered to.
Backup payroll processing as required.
Cross functional support and global HR employee maintenance
To be successful in this role you will need to possess:
Tertiary Qualifications in Human Resources Management
Certificate in Return-to-work Coordination
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
Extensive understanding of human resources issues and a strong working knowledge of employment laws and practices.
Excellent interpersonal skills both verbal and written
Sound business acumen and advisory skills
High attention to detail
Previous HR exposure within a Wholesale, FMCG or blue-collar environment
Working knowledge of payroll processing (advantageous), and skilled in Award interpretation and workplace regulations.
