HV Substation Electrician

The Opportunity
We are searching for experienced HV Substation Electricians to join our Energy & Utilities team, working on Primary and Secondary construction of Zone Substations, Terminal Substations and Utility owned Data Centre Stations. As part of a small, skilled team, you’ll be involved with HV Switchyard construction including CB’s, CT’s VT’s, disconnecting switches, solid and flexible Bus installation, and earthing of all switchyard equipment. Other tasks will include installation of Secondary Protection and Control panels, and installation and termination of all control cables. These roles are based on a nine-day fortnight.

What We’re Looking For
We’d love to hear from you if you have:

• A current VIC Electrical Licence
• Proven experience working in HV substation construction or maintenance
• A strong background in HV primary and secondary systems.
• Excellent communication and time management skills
• First Aid & CPR/LVR certifications
• High Risk Work Licence – EWP and/or Forklift (desirable but not essential)
• A strong commitment to our Zero Harm safety culture
