About the role
Provide high-quality administrative and clerical support to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), working closely with medical, nursing and allied health teams.
Manage a variety of administrative tasks including appointment scheduling, minute taking, correspondence, report preparation, data entry and record management.
Support key operational functions such as recruitment administration, roster coordination, invoice processing and auditing activities.
Act as a key point of contact for the department, delivering professional reception and customer service to staff, patients and stakeholders.
Assist the ICU leadership team with coordinating support services, maintaining office equipment and supplies, and ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the unit.
About you
Previous experience in a similar role, ideally in a health care setting
Capacity to work both autonomously and under broad supervision and to undertake a diverse range of tasks as an effective member of a team in a high pressure, high volume work environment.
Polished verbal and written communication skills and proficient computer skills with experience using Microsoft Office, dashboards, databases, spreadsheets and other administrative software.
Highly organised with excellent attention to detail, able to manage competing priorities and meet time-sensitive deadlines efficiently.
A professional, reliable and proactive team player with excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills and capable of working both independently and collaboratively.
