Indoor Plant Technician

Our client, a successful, award-winning Horticultural company providing indoor and outdoor plants to businesses and corporate clients throughout Sydney requires a full-time Indoor Plant Technician to join their team. 
This is no office job!  As a person with a keen interest in Plants, the opportunity includes:

• Visiting client sites to care for plants , mainly in their offices.
• Installing and replacing plants / pots at client sites.
• Assisting with weekly stock preparation.
• Loading and unloading vehicles (not more than 10kg).
• Ensuring ongoing equipment care and maintenance.
• Assisting with yard maintenance.

As the successful candidate, you will be a Brand Ambassador for the business!

You will be well-presented and have great people skills in dealing with clients whilst tending to their Plants.  You will be well-organised, self-directed, have a great attitude and a positive outlook towards your work.  You will also be able to work independently as well as part of a team.  

A Horticultural qualification is preferred , however for the right person with the right attitude, enthusiasm and work ethic, our client will provide the opportunity and training for you to become an expert in the industry. A willingness to start/complete the qualification will be beneficial.

Requirements:

• Have a passion for Plants.
• Some horticultural experience preferred, but not essential.
• You must be fit and healthy - pre-employment medical may be required.
• Able to work unsupervised in a confident and competent manner.
• Have a great work attitude - be good with people, friendly, enthusiastic, well groomed.
