Duties

We are looking for Industrial Painter/Blasters to perform coatings and painting applications, sand -blasting, and other tasks relative to industrial coatings.

Duties will be to apply coatings through conventional, airless, and plural spray systems. Mix paints to desired colours and consistencies.

You will be work supporting ongoing major projects, this is an excellent opportunity to be part of critical defence and marine preparations.

Experience

• Minimum 3 years' proven experience in marine, industrial, or commercial painting
  
• Proficient with airless spraying (essential) and sandblasting
  
• Knowledge of Health & Safety and COSHH regulations
  
• Experience on submarines/warships (highly desirable)
  
• Understanding of technical documentation & safety protocols
  
• Willingness to work shifts/overtime when required
  
• Strong attention to detail
  
• Full Clean Driving Licence
  
• Excellent time management and organisational skills.
  

Requirements

Essential:

· Candidate must meet VISA and immigration requirements to be considered for this role

· You must be willing to relocate on a solo basis

· You must be suitably experienced with recognised qualifications /experience as specified above

· You must be eligible and willing to relocate from the UK to Australia

Qualifications:

Essential:

• ICATS Certification or Train the Painter
  
• Confined Space
  
• Working with heights
  

Desirable:

• NVQ Level 2 with intent to progress to Level 3
  
• Additional marine coatings or HSE training
  
• NACE
  
• Previous SV Clearance
  

· Due to the nature of the work, You must pass a background check with no offences and be willing to undertake an ACRO criminal record check at your own expense.
