Intermediate Accountant - Chartered Firm

About the Role

Working in Newcastle, you will be a part of a young dynamic team of dedicated professionals who aspire to provide exceptional quality service to their clients. Davidson Accountants has recently taken on a new Partner and we are excited to welcome someone to be a part of this new transition in the Company's future.

This role will suit someone with strong communication skills, professional presentation & demonstrated initiative. 

Duties will include:

• Liaising with clients 
• Preparation of work papers, financial statements, tax reconciliations, tax returns for companies, trusts, individuals and family groups 
• Preparing BAS returns
• Prioritising tasks and meeting deadlines

Skills and Experience

The successful candidate must be able to work fulltime. 

Prior experience  (ideally 2-5 years) working in a chartered accounting firm in Australia is essential.

• A desire to become the best in the profession
• Be a permanent resident of Australia

You must be either studying or have completed a Bachelor degree in Business/Commerce majoring in Accounting in an Australian university as a minimum & have a desire to complete your CA.
