The Position…

In this position, you will be working as part of a team of accountants whilst reporting directly to both the Management team and Partners. You will be predominantly working as a Business Services Accountant and SMSF Accountant, where you will be responsible for financial accounts, tax compliance and SMSF compliance matters while developing your business advisory skills, for a wide range of our clients. In this role, you will be given the opportunity to work with a variety of clients of various structures including companies, partnerships and trusts, predominately SME's, and SMSF’s, but you will also be given exposure to larger and more complex client groups. To support in you in your role, full training and professional development will be provided.

The ideal candidate will have the following:

• 2 to 5 years of current Public Practice experience in Australia
  


• Completed Australian tertiary studies
  


• Commenced or be eligible and willing to commence either CA or CPA
  


• Experienced in using Access Handisoft (preferable, but not mandatory)
  


• Experienced in using BGL360 Simplefund (preferable, but not mandatory)
  


• Have the passion and willingness to further develop your accounting and tax skills
  


• Possess excellent presentation and communication skills
  


• Have a positive and professional attitude
  


• Be a strong team player but also confident and comfortable working independently
  


• Be a lateral thinker and client focused
  


• Australian Permanent Residency or Citizenship
