Internal Sales Consultant

Tyremax is a leading tyre wholesaler with national distribution and well-established quality brands, and we are in pursuit of a results-driven Internal Sales Consultant to join our Melbourne Branch Sales team located in Thomastown.

Reporting to the Branch Sales Manager, you must be able to work to deadlines, be organised, have a strong passion for sales and be customer centric.

Key duties and responsibilities of this role include:

• Making warm outbound calls to existing customers to generate sales and following up on previous enquiries or quotes
• Responding to all customer enquiries regarding product information, pricing, availability, delivery schedules and back orders in a timely manner
• Receiving inbound calls from both internal and external customers regarding sales or enquiries
• Accurately processing and keying in sales orders and quotes
• Providing support and information to the field sales team

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Proven experience in sales and customer service
• The skills to upsell and cross sell at every opportunity
• A ‘can do’ attitude and the ability to work under pressure
• A friendly phone manner and strong communicator
• An ability to think on your feet with good attention to detail
