Job Description - Internal Sales Engineer

We are looking for an Internal Sales Engineer to join the Sales Department within our Brisbane operations. Endress+Hauser Australia is made up of over 120 dedicated employees across the country, with our national office located in Sydney, Australia.

In this role, you will be ultimately responsible for providing support to the External Sales team in the management of their customers, always ensuring exceptional customer service. 


 


Which tasks will you perform?



  • Always providing exceptional customer service and maximising every sale opportunity for the Company and QLD team

  • Active use of C-360 (Salesforce) to plan and manage day-to-day sales activities

  • Ensuring timely quotations, follow ups and processing of orders

  • Providing technical sales support for our range of products. Keeping up to date with our existing and new products

  • Liaising with logistics in relation to order and delivery times


 


What do we expect from you?



  • Appropriate tertiary qualifications in electrical and/or instrumentation disciplines from certificate to degree level.

  • English proficiency in verbal, written and intrapersonal situations is a pre-requisite for this role. 

  • Have previous experience in a similar role with a proven track record of exceeding sales targets.

  • Instrumentation experience and product knowledge, preferably Endress+Hauser.

  • Computer literacy with working knowledge in all MS Office applications and C-360 (Salesforce CRM) 

  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to multitask. 

  • Have excellent attention to detail and a demonstrated ability to follow through on tasks to completion.

  • Provide exceptional customer service, both internally and externally.

  • Are team players who can collaborate effectively with others across departments.

  • Based in QLD, preferably Brisbane area
