Accountability: 

The iOS Developer is accountable for developing the iOS interface to enable M3DICINE’s vision of seamless, elegant and easy to use tools which will assist healthcare professionals to capture and record vital signs, and to share data supporting fast, informed clinical decision making. 

Role 

The iOS Developer provides specialist application design skills allowing healthcare professionals and practitioners to operate Stethee Pro through their mobile device and ensuring outstanding customer experience. The iOS Developer will be joining a small cross-disciplinary team of developers including existing iOS and Android developers.  

Responsibilities 

Day to day responsibilities include: 

• Designing and developing advanced applications for the Apple iOS platform 


• Ongoing testing for robustness and reliability 


• Bug fixing and improving application performance 


• Ensure application stability through ongoing optimization and development 


• Liaise with leadership to support development of requested features in line with product roadmap and design guidelines 


• Follow M3DICINE’s Standard Operating Procedures and undertake ongoing thorough detailed testing processes in line with Stethee’s 6-week cycle guidelines 


• Follow best practice development principles to ensure code is easy to amend  


• Work closely with other mobile developers to ensure uniformity of approach 


• Develop and maintain test documentation to meet quality and regulatory requirements 


• Work with UI / UX to ensure consistent best practice user experience  

Job Qualifications 

Technical skills required: 

Demonstrated experience with / Knowledge of 

• iOS SDK 


• Google Firebase 


• Cocoapods / Dependency management 

Desirable skills / experience 

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer science or related field 


• 3 years + hands-on software development experience designing, writing, debugging and testing using Swift as a primary language  


• Understanding of audio file representation and manipulation  


• Experience working through application upgrades 


• Experience working with software design patterns, specifically VIPER architecture 


• Experience with / exposure to highly regulated industry (medical device / aviation etc.) 


• Strong attention to detail 


• Clear concise communication skills and strong written documentation 


• Able to learn quickly and pick up medical terminology  


• Ability to adapt to M3dicine’s quality and regulatory requirements  


• Have test driven development (TDD) experience and code review practice with peers 


• Comfortable to work with M3dicine’s Software development lifecycle along with QA and regulatory function as part of a multidisciplinary team 


• Team player actively engaging with the team to ensure uniformity across the software 


• Up to date with new, evolving, and emerging technologies 


• Passion for technology with an enthusiasm to play around with new tools and concepts
