Job Description - Junior Digital Producer

An exciting opportunity now exists for a Junior Digital Producer to join our Member Experience and Design division on a 2 year max term contract, full-time basis.

Reporting to the Product Owner in the Website Performance Team, you'll play an important role in helping RAC deliver high-quality digital experiences to more than 1.3 million members. Working alongside a talented content, UX, Development, and SEO team, you'll help create, publish and optimise content across one of Western Australia's most visited websites.


What will you be doing?
 

  • Assist in editing and maintaining digital content, including copy, images, iconography and videos, ensuring they align with brand guidelines and standards.
  • Upload, organise, manage and publish content within our Sitecore and Contentful CMS platforms.
  • Liaise with Marketing, Brand, and Creative Services teams with the creation and approval of digital elements.
  • Support SEO, copy and content optimisation activities to improve the discoverability and effectiveness of website content.
  • Assist with content audits, reporting and continuous improvement initiatives. Review and test digital content for errors or inconsistencies prior to publication, ensuring approvals are received and documented prior to publication.
  • Review content changes from non-admin CMS users to ensure they have been correctly implemented before publishing on their behalf.
  • Incorporate stakeholder feedback (including the Website Performance Team and Marketing colleagues) to refine and improve content changes.
  • Work closely with the Website Performance Team, the wider Brand and Marketing team, and other departments as required to ensure timely and accurate content publication to our public website.
  • Identify and communicate blockers promptly to the Website Performance Owner, to ensure deadlines are not impacted. 
  • Liaise with Website Performance Team, and Brand & Marketing team to ensure the development of digital solutions that enable our members to easily purchase products online or maintain their existing products.
     

What are we looking for in you?

  • Proven track record of continuous learning, as a growth mindset is important to succeed in this role.
  • Previous experience working within corporate team environments.
  • Previous experience using Sitecore or Contentful is desirable but not mandatory.
  • Degree in Digital Communications, Digital Marketing or Media Studies, or Tafe equivalent.
  • An understanding of HTML and CSS is desirable but not mandatory.
  •   Ability to work autonomously, juggling several different tasks simultaneously, and take ownership to ensure stakeholder requests are actioned according.
  • Genuine interest in content, websites and creating digital experiences.
  • You enjoy learning new systems and technologies.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Can communicate effectively and build trusted relationships with others.
